The Qin PLUS DM-i is a plug-in hybrid sedan designed for the global market, combining fuel efficiency, long driving range, and advanced intelligent driving features.
It comes with BYD’s fifth-generation DM-i super hybrid system, pairing a 1.5L high-efficiency engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined output of 226 hp. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. Fuel consumption is as low as 2.93 L/100 km when the battery is low (NEDC), while the combined range with a full tank and full battery extends beyond 2,055 km.
An 18.32 kWh Blade Battery provides up to 120 km of pure electric driving (CLTC), enabling zero-fuel daily commutes. Fast charging at 17 kW takes the battery from 30% to 80% in around 30 minutes, making it practical for both European urban travel and intercity journeys in Southeast Asia.
The Intelligent Driving Edition features the DiPilot 100 system with 29 integrated sensors, including a triple front camera and millimeter-wave radar. It supports highway navigation, automatic ramp entry and exit, and full-scenario intelligent parking. The system reliably detects stationary obstacles and narrow spaces, easing the burden of long drives and city parking.
The body uses an LCB high-rigidity structure with 65% high-strength steel, while the Blade Battery has passed nail penetration tests, ensuring safety standards on par with Europe and the U.S.
With pricing around 30% lower than comparable plug-in hybrids, the Qin PLUS DM-i offers strong value. It also adapts to local market needs: enhanced cooling and higher ground clearance for Southeast Asia, seat heating and soundproof glass for Europe.
