Positioned between the Aion V Plus and Aion S, the Aion Y fills the gap between SUVs and sedans. In the compact EV segment, it competes with the BYD Yuan PLUS, XPeng G3i, and others, standing out for its generous space and advanced battery safety.
A front-mounted single motor produces 150 kW of power, comparable to the BYD Yuan PLUS. Its 61.7 kWh LFP “Magazine Battery” is engineered for enhanced safety and stability. With a CLTC range of up to 610 km, which is greater than most rivals, the Aion Y combines endurance with efficiency. On its 400V platform, fast charging from 30% to 80% takes around 25 minutes, making it practical for both daily and long-distance use.
The clean, tech-inspired exterior is defined by “Angel Wing” LED headlights and a boxy profile that maximizes cabin space. Inside, a 2,750 mm wheelbase and 1,020 mm of rear legroom lead the class. The trunk provides 405 L of cargo space and can be expanded to 1,200 L, offering strong practicality for family shopping or weekend trips.
With its long range, safe battery system, and class-leading space, the Aion Y 610 Zhixiang Edition is well-suited to fast-growing EV markets in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
